A phylogeny of the lichen moth tribe Lithosiini has been constructed based on adult morphological characters. Specimens of 76 species representing 49 genera and each of the seven subtribes that have been proposed, as well as genera that have yet to be placed within a subtribe, were by: 3. The male genitalia of the fritillary butterfly Issoria lathonia (L.) were examined and reconstructed based on sagittal and horizontal sections. Nine intrinsic muscles were identified consistent with previous results. The retractor of the anal.

Lithosia colonoides Kiriakoff, ; Albert ; TL: riv. Kombo, i, m. Female genitalia showed a similar trend to the males, although the difference between genital and somatic traits was not significant in females. This finding suggests that selection is acting differently on male and female genitalia. Positive allometry of hind tibia in H. armigera may be a result of secondary sexual function.

Separating the genitalia from the abdomen The male organs, including the valvae and aedeagus, are clustered together at one end of the abdomen, and these should now be obvious, the aedeagus lying horizontally in situ in the middle of the genitalia, usually above the juxta. The next step is to detach them from the Size: 1MB.
